Melinda Brown has a degree in economics from Brigham Young
University. After earning her degree, she turned to supporting her husband through
his medical training around the country while rearing their four children. Melinda
discovered Now I Can through her daughter, Maggie, a high
school junior at the time, who attended a lecture given by a Now I
Can team member, and immediately started volunteering. Impressed and
grateful for the effect the experience had on her daughter, Melinda wanted to give
something back in return for all Now I Can had given Maggie.
She joined the board in January 2009 and brings her creativity, insight and networking
